The decision point is definitely the turn. Once you've called there, you're playing for stacks. Sounds like you're OK with that, in which case I prefer getting it in on the turn rather than waiting. He's committed by this point, too, so you're only going to get a fold if he has air.

Personally, I get nervous when pots get that big and I just have an overpair, but I'm sure those games are more aggro than I'm used to, too.
