Live 5/10 Small Boat 250bb Deep - River Play?

Venetian 5/10nl, 9-Handed.

I'm actually the CO in this hand, but I'm posting under UTG+1's point of view. I still can't decide the best way for him to play the river.

Hero (UTG+1) is viewed as laggy. Doesn't play that many pots, but when he does play he bluffs way too much. Villian (CO) is viewed as tight/solid and capable of making some light calls, although the light calls were in smaller pots.

Effective stacks are about 2400.

Hero is UTG+1 with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Preflop
Hero limps, MP limps, CO raises to 40, BB calls, Hero calls, MP calls.

Flop (160): A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Checks around.

Turn (160): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB checks, Hero checks, MP checks, CO bets 120, BB folds, Hero raises to 540, MP folds, CO calls.

River (1200): Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero...

About 1800 more behind... What's the best way to play this river?

seems like he has to bet call - that Q isn't exactly a great card though.

in fact assuming CO is a halfway decent player at all he can't be shoving worse except perhaps 44

How can he be viewed as "laggy" but doesn't play many pots? Thats a contradiction - so i'm not sure how he thinks the table perceives his play. Given that you said he is "bluffy" though - think this is an easy bet-call.

bet/call or check with intention to c/r all-in.

at first i hated the turn play but now i'm okay with it. you have a pot control hand a ton of the time here imo(tt-kk or w/e) and with his image and the way you described yourself i think he extracts more by c/r than betting turn and river. once he c/r turn i think he should tank and shove the river with his 'bluffy' image but this is sort of a game of levels and is hard to determine what level you are on, and in turn what size is most likely to get paid off. you can easily view the diamond as a scare card and determine his perceived range on turn is full of draws and fold...or you can determine it's a good card for him to continue his bluffs and a good one for you to call down on etc.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

He checked the river, I bet 600, he crai and I snapcalled with AQ.

I don't like his river play, and think bet/call or even bet/fold would have been better.

Any thoughts on how I played my hand?
