2/4 Turn play? TP & combo draw
Just want to clarify if I should be betting this sort of turn. I have more or less been going by the dictum TP + gd flush drw = bet/call all in. Would like some clarification that that is indeed the way to play this?
Villain in this spot is 44/12/1.1 over 60 hands. He has all the makings of a buddy. Although would like some insight not into just this villain but this situation in general. No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2./$4. 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $156 CO: $244 Hero: $412 SB: $397.50 BB: $198.80 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, CO calls, Hero raises to $20, SB calls, BB folds, CO calls. Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($64, 3 players) SB checks, CO checks, Hero bets $48, SB folds, CO calls. Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($160, 2 players) CO checks, Hero bets??? Thanks |

Turn card helps his range - check behind.
I don't think you can generalize these situations. Extremely player/style dependant I think. |
