100NL TPTK+NFD hand
 

100NL with 100bb stacks. I make it $3.50 UTG with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and get one call from UTG+1. This guy seems to be a regular playing 25/2.5/2.5. Probably cold calls a lot preflop even with stuff like KK. I haven't being playing this site long so I'm not really sure how things work yet.

Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] giving me TPTK and the nut flush draw. Pot: $8.50.

I cbet for $5 and get minraised to $10.

I figure his range at this point to be 77/88/AK/AxQd/9Ts/56s (thoughts?). Pokerstove tells me I'm 61.5% to win against that range so folding is bad. Question is, do I call or 3bet.

If you say 3bet please explain why you think it is the best optionand if you say call please say what I should do on a blank turn.

3 bet because there are a ton of scare cards that can come on later streets quite simply.

You are off about his range I think. There are a few made flushes (QJ and JT), pair/flush draw hands, worse aces (all AQs and AJs), and two pair in there as well. Still a definite 3bet though.

You have pretty good equity in this hand. And your draw is totally obvious, I 3 bet to get value.

You can play it safe and call to catch but I definitely shove more in the pot early in this scenario.

I say put the heat on. People do stupid things in monotone flops. 3bet the flop to $30.

3bet push b/c you can fold out better hands and you aren't getting paid if you hit

It looks like I messed up a bit in my first post. I'm revising his range at the point where we get minraised to be

AQs+, AQo+
77, 88
A8s, A7s, 78s,
QJd, TJd, T9d, 56d

Against this range we are 57% to win.

I feel that if we 3bet at this point, he likely pushes with 77/88/A8s/A7s/78s and all made flushes. Basically all the hands that beat us. I don't see what better hands we fold out. All we're really accomplishing is giving the hands we're ahead of, namely AQ, a chance to get away and we get the money in behind.

What? Highly doubt 2pair+ is folding.
