Raise or call assuming that mostly high cards are showing?

Raise if you have the A showing, you'll force out marginal high hands.
Opponents will have to guess which way you are going.

pffft. i prefer to not get there only to bluff villain off his hand on 7th getting 88:1. i guess some people only like doing things the easy way.

I was looking for the general answer, but in a situation that happened earlier today, I was about halfway around from the bring in at a full table, so there were still 4 to act behind me, and there was a 5 (behind me) and a 6 (completed in front of me) out. The others were between 9-Q. If this changes your answer, please let me know why. Thanks.
