Preflop all in by complete maniac - not worth it?

Villain is a HUGE maniac with stats of 59/37 from a smallish sample of 70 hands.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($10.70)
Button ($7.35)
Hero ($9.90)
BB ($14.90)
UTG ($48.10)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3.55</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $35.9</font>

Call or let it go? Villain always seems to bet a dollar regardless of what he has, he loves to over bet the pot.

if you have seen him shove alot preflop or seen him showdown a ton of trash I dont mind making this call. but I cant do it on stats alone.

Considering hero's stack size, call every time.

edit: hero's got a full stack. I mean you're flipping or better, but only in a couple instances really behind considering villain's range. And you've got some real odds, 2-1.

And -- you'll have a better chance at villain's big stack if you double up.

You shouldn't 3bet if you aren't calling here IMO, I imagine his range is wide here. Has he pushed over 3bets before? You committed quite a bit already. I call. I think just calling preflop is fine too. Acting first against maniac not so bad...

You are getting 2.1:1 so its a call, especially when you a dealing with a maniac.

He's pretty over aggressive preflop, and on the flop as well. His 3bet range is pretty wide, I've actually seen a lot of his hands go to showdown since he's in a lot of hands. At one point he's raising $1 about 5 hands in a row with no callers. Probably one of the biggest maniacs I've seen recently.

I understand I probably committed myself as soon as I re-raised, it probably makes no sense to fold it against a player like this.
