Re: NL400: 3hands

Hand 1 fine.

Hand 2 - If I am pushing river I just push turn.

Hand 3 - I hate that river bet against his hand range.

Re: NL400: 3hands

hand3: he only got about ~200 left. So whats the line?

Re: NL400: 3hands

1st hand man im probably gonna check the flop I hate building big pots with 1010 99 88 in ring. Unless i set up and no 8 7 6 board, 8 9 j board, etc. But you bet after i cbet here, im probably gonna shut it down and check fold.

hand 2. The only hand that calls you on river is one that has you beat 107, 10q. I can see arguments for folding to min bet as the turn completes 32 hands plus, JJ..

Hand 3 is check and hope he doesnt bet.

freeucm : nit + troll, isn'it ?

The two first are good, I prefer c/c river N°3 vs this overaggrodonk.

Re: NL400: 3hands

1 is standard, 2 just shove the turn. And 3 I'm not a huge fan of, but I doubt it's terrible. I usually check and make a decision from there if he bets. Sometimes c/f sometimes c/c depend on how I percieve him.

Re: NL400: 3hands

you can get away with betting more in hand 1 on the river. if they're a true maniac, you should consider checking all three streets to let him bet all three streets.

hand 2... duh.

hand 3, this is what is known as a bad bet

Re: NL400: 3hands

Yea first 2 are fine, 3rd is close and if he's gonna call here with just 4s/5s up here shoving is fine. It's an odd spot because he can have whiffed hearts which hes not calling a bet with obviously, but if you check it you lose value from a lot of hands he might call a shove with. He can also very easily have a straight.
