Bill Gates' net worth dropped multi billions of dollars and he was still the richest guy in the world. If he lost 4 million it would be like aba playing .5/.10 nl and losing 5 buy ins.

It doesnt have to be modesty exactly - i mean the diffence between the best half dozen players in the game could be as simple as who got the best nights sleep and stuff like that because the edges are probably so small.
