TT versus SB 3-bet

I need some help on how I should have played this hand.

Full Tilt 0.25/0.5 Hold'em (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.40 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.70 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (6.70 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero folds

Final Pot: 8.70 BB

This is a spot where I am not really sure where I am in the hand. I think that on each street I become less and less confident in my hand, but where do I draw the line and throw it away? SB has shown continuing aggression/strength. I don't think I played this hand well. Some of my thoughts are that I could have:
a. capped preflop
b. raised the flop
c. folded the turn

Which of these are good lines?

flat calling pf is fine. capping is also fine.

since you didn't cap pf, you need to put more action in on this flop.

folding the turn would be fine, but for me, the only reason i get to the turn like this is if i'm determined to go to showdown.

and yeah you beat nothing on the river so fold.

i dont mind any of the streets actually. i think i fold the turn, unless villain is very aggro. cap pf has some merit.

i think since u didnt cap pf u need to show some aggression on the flop

as far as the turn goes i think ur behind and as played i think its a fold

river is easiest fold in a while but i think with this line we shouldnt have got there

The line I like is call pf and raise flop. This is a very good flop for you.

I think you played the hand very well. I would only consider calling this river vs a very aggressive player (i.e. one that 3-bets 55 vs a steal, and auto-continuation-bets to river). I doubt that this is that kind of player, because you probably would have mentioned it. In that case it is really hard to imagine someone holding QJ or 88 here.

imo, the problem with raising the flop is that it allows us to get pwned too easily when behind (either on the flop with a 3 bet or the turn with a check raise) and lets him off the hook cheap if hes got 6 outs he would barrel with.

A turn raise is sexy, but might be a spew depending on the villain... It's probably a spew here based on nothing but the stakes.

Re: TT versus SB 3-bet

I would play preflop the way you played, as I'm in position with respect to SB, and would then evaluate on the flop again.

Given flop cards are pretty harmless to TT, I would raise the his flop bet to see where I stand. If he re-raises, I'm pretty sure I'm beat.

If he calls, but bets into me on the turn with the turn Ace, it's likely he hit it. But that would also depend on my assessment of villian's aggressiveness. Is he more likely to use the Ace as a bluff?

If he checks the turn, I'll bet. A raise from him, I'll fold.
