Two Pair corrupted, valuebet anyway?

I am making the switch from full ring to short-handed, and I am having trouble finding valuebets on the river. Here is an example.

Pokerroom .5/1 (5 handed)
Villain is 50.5/13/3.6 over 100 hands
Hero is on the Button with J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Pre-Flop
2 folds, Hero Raises, SB folds, BB calls

Flop (4.5 sb) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB checks, Hero Bets, BB raises, Hero calls

Turn (4 bb): T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls

River (8 bb): 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
BB checks, Hero?

Your Thoughts?

I'm checking here and hoping that we were being called down by a jack, flush draw, or oesd

I agree. Kicker doesn't even play. Can your kicker ever play when your 2p gets counterfeit?

I'm betting here and hoping that he has a jack, ten, or pocket pair smaller than tens. (Or that he feels like calling with a busted draw.)

I don't get what you're saying? We're still beating all other jacks besides JJ, QJ, or J6.

why? If he was calling us down with TP, we are now beat, if he was calling us down with bottom pair, we're gonna get CRed. He won't call with a busted draw. THere is no value in betting this river

No, now we are splitting with any other jack that doesn't beat us. (JJ66Q)

Oh nevermind, I am idiot

Heh. I think it's close now that my hand reading skills have come back to me. I think a Q is pretty likely. Will he have a J more than half as often as he has a Q? Considering we have a J I think it's close but no.

As long as he usually c/r flops in blind defense, I think a 50.5/13/3.6 is usually c/ring a lot of stuff, and all sorts of LAGs go to showdown with junk.

I don't think you're missing a lot of value checking here, and it's a must check versus sensible opponents.
