I don't see how you can do anything but call w/ UTG and button still to act, since it's highly likely someone in this hand has a King or better and they're not folding... Just pray that they let you get there cheap...

just call, button might take a stab at it, but you can reconsider when that happens. Raising isn't great with someone left to act and a strange bet from the sb.

The all-in UTG is complicating things here: (a) because a raise does not have the same probability-adjusted equity (i.e. if SB folds to raise, you only win 3K for sure and 12K with some %), and (b) the fact that you (they) will see their (your) cards no matter what makes people do funny things

In this instance, I call and fold to any pushes by Button. Must have plan for what to do on turn if you make your straight, or if a spade, T, 9, A, or if board pairs (other than K).

If no all-in UTG, I might min raise or push some percentage of the time and call some other (bigger) percentage (depending on my image and read on SB/Button).

Hero is BB, I messed up with the changes I made to the original hand.

Does anyone see the benefits of a push by hero in this situation?

costs &gt; benefits of push - you have too many chips, and not enough equity in pot.

I can't see any benefit. If someone else calls, you are likely a dog. If they fold, then you are heads up but might still lose the pot to UTG. If you do draw out and win, then that is OK but you are not getting max value in my opinion.

By calling, you give yourself a chance of drawing to your hand and more importantly, folding if someone shoves. If you get other callers, you could also win a bigger pot.
