A couple of hands that seemed spewy 5/10 Party

There's a really good chance they were.

Hand 1:

Villain is Ch1pseater, multitabling regular who seems decent and who I've heard is pretty good. We don't have any real history. He runs at 27/22 over about 100 hands. I've been at the table for an orbit or two. Just 2 hands ago I raised the SB when it was folded to me and he reraised me, I folded.

On the flop I thought that there was a good chance that he was making a one-shot stab at the pot, so I floated intending to take it away on the river. What do you guys make of his river raise (is it ever a bluff)? He's almost never full here, do you think a guy of this description will fold a flush, or am I dreaming? I got the shove off in about 3 seconds fwiw.

It's about 400 more.

Oh yeah if it means anything (probably not), I always raise to 35 preflop but this time was too lazy to type it.

Hand 2:

This one is simpler. I've seen this guy around before, but don't have any specific reads, except that he wasn't particularily impressive before. I've been pretty quiet at this table. A little bit over an orbit ago villain raised QQ on the button and got called in the BB. He continuation bet a 664r flop, and then called the reraise and 2 more barrels on a 7 and 8, losing to 55 (he had a full buyin there). I thought that his flat call of the flop raise might mean that this guy is trappy.

Hand 2 you need to be good like 28% of the time, gotta call.

Hand 1, i agree looks sexy, but doesnt mean its gonna work.

1 the only thing you are folding him off of is a bluff (but I hope you knew that), and people dont minraise bluff the river. If he has an 8 or a flush hes not folding for 400 more lol...

2 is fine, though the 2nd barrel should be a bit smaller or not happen at all imo

we are repping QQ in 1 and he has random crap here a lot of the time, i dont know, what legit hands does he play like that ? We might even be good here !! ( ok i play with lots of fish and may be a little optimistic )

I just think if ever there was a spot for that it's here, if he slowplayed a set on the turn we got pwned and that's too bad, make a note and move on. I LUV IT ! dont forget to post the results of at least hand 1, or pm me, i can't believe you lost !!

Agree about the 2nd barrel, I didn't notice he was short at the time.

I figure him for a flush most of the time in hand 1.

Hand 1 is really bad. I can understand if you had say 800 more or so, but you dont have any real reads on the villain and no history. His range consists rivered flushes mostly, and I dont think hes bluffing here often at all I also dont think your getting him to fold much here.

Hand 2 is a call since your getting pretty sick odds, but his most likely holding is an 8 or a boat.

Lol if your putting him on a flush in hand 1 it's
suicide, he prob calls 400 with out even thinking.
