More importantly, Mat Sklansky and his girlfriend Kiera are coming down from Vegas to join us!!! Pretty huge news IMO.

I will PM a link to the confirmed participants to the previous thread to get them excited, but Mat for some reason doesn't think he's a big deal and I disagree!

but seriously with this new update NLS says he might be down but the thing is I would have to drive because he gets really angry in traffic and then he doesn't talk to me and i get sad that he doesn't like me anymore. BUT i love traffic because then i dance in my car.

Can any locals give me some hotel suggestions? I really don't care what the place is like.

I'll "probably" make the trip, if I get out of work early enough. Here's to hoping it won't be so bad on the 5, at least the start of the trip, with Del Mar now closed.

re: hotels I would suggest The Grafton on Sunset or, slightly east of there, the Standard (also on Sunset). Both are relatively reasonable & often have specials. Also both are hip and fun and if you ended up having a party back in your room it likely wouldn't be a prob.

BTW, still waiting on my super special PM from Tuq re this shindig
