No continuation bet 3 ways?

Do you ever not make a continuation bet 3-ways with whiffed overcards? I thought this spot might have been close. A flop like that seems to hit a lot of limping and cold-calling ranges. I guess offsuit broadways are limping and cold-calling hands as well though. Any examples of where you might do this?

Rainbow board, no cards directly connecting, it's a bet 3 way IMO.

Unless button called preflop with a pp, there's not much he can have on the board.

People peel lightly on raised pots like this, and both villains probably have overcards.

These spots are often read specific. You're still getting around 7:1 on a flop bet, so I think that's the correct play. I suspect button is drawing pretty thin, but UTG could have anything.

You missed the flop, but probably so did your opponents. Thing is, they may know you missed it and try and push you off.

I hate these spots.

I always bet this, call if c/r:ed and raise turn when I hit A or K.

Re: No continuation bet 3 ways?

Most hands you're against here will call your flop bet, including many overcards (e.g., J10). With the button still to act, this is one flop on which I would check. You'll get raised by the button often enough SH even if it's only for a "free" card, and I don't want to pump two flop bets if I'm drawing slim or even dead...

I wouldn't mind if button takes a feecard since I could use one myself in this hand... and if he raises it might get HU on the turn, not bad either. And JT calling is not bad either... Don't think your arguments hold up latexnun...

Is it better to give JT a freecard? And whats bad if it's HU when we hit A or K on turn?

Re: No continuation bet 3 ways?

Way too easy to get outplayed by the button here. Button could raise with anything just to force you to c/f turn UI. You could be reverse dominated with only 3 outs, so I'm only betting this flop if both opponents will fold. The problem is most hands aren't going to fold on this board...
