light laptop

Can anyone recommend a good laptop under $1000 that weighs less than 5 pounds? I'd like to easily carry it in a backpack.

I recommend the Sager NP7250. I know a few people who have been very pleased with this laptop. 12.1" screen and 4.1 pounds with the battery.
