Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Hero ($866.40)
MP ($152.20)
Button ($170)
SB ($425.80)
BB ($404)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/.../smiles/4s.gif, http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/.../smiles/4c.gif.
[color=#666666]1 fold</font>, [color=#CC3333]Hero raises to $14</font>, [color=#666666]2 folds</font>, SB calls $12, BB calls $10.

Flop: ($42) http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/.../smiles/7h.gif, http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/.../smiles/8d.gif, http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/.../smiles/4d.gif [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font>

Bear with me, I'm just learning how to use the converter.
SB is a solid player that doesn't get too out of line
BB is unknown.

Sb and BB check flop
Hero Bets $30
SB raises to $99
BB tanks and raises to $215

Hero clearly has bottom set but with this much action what are the odds I'm ahead here? That I didn't run into a flopped straight? Granted, there are flush draws too...ok...do I call (horrible), raise or fold?

Re: test

This depends on how often you've seen these players call out of the blinds with hands like SC's, which would makeup the nuts or combo draws here. If they have any tendency to do this, you can easily be up against 65. Add in 77/88, and the fact that you're facing a double CR, and finding a fold here is OK.

Eh, so drawy, 78 plays the same as 77 88, I would probably shove but can't fault a fold. Some reads would be helpful.

Re: test

The reasons I wasn't all in immediately was 1. The solid reg check raised me on this flop with the other guy still to act. He doesn't do that often without a big hand.
and
2. The BB, who is completely unknown, check reraised both of us! Doesn't both of these things together make it more likely one of them has me on the flop with 88, 77 or 56?

btw, thanks for your replies thus far.

Reads plz. Barring none, shove.

Re: test

My reply is based on the fact that I never fold sets, well almost. What is their read on you? Do you c/bet always?

Re: test

Reads...SB...He's capable of moves and pushing draws in these same positions, but for the most part, he's pretty nitty.

BB is unknown.

I would come across as pretty typical taggy player who Cb's with typical frequency. Sorry I can't give more than that.

So, so far, some of you aren't the least bit worried about players in the blinds check raising and then check reraising on this flop.

Re: test

ehhhh if I'm playing well I puke a little bit and then fold. I'm usually not playing that well, but I think folding is fundamentally correct here on this board, unless both players are super aggro.
