Huge pot top set when to raise?

Live 12-24 juicy Game: Game is very loose, a lot of players to the flop, lots of money on the table.

-8 Players-
Preflop: UTG,UTG+1 folds, MP1 through 3 limps, Hijack Raises, CO calls, I three bet on the button with A-A, SB and BB call.
Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Flop gets checked around to me, i bet. three callers, mp1 2 bets, gets called all the way to me.

Should i 3-bet the flop on this drawy board, or wait till the turn to pop it up so the raiser bets into me and if the flush draw doesnt get there, get players to cold call two bets to chase their draw?

ur using that avatar!!! ahhh.

Nice to see you posting here man. I was there for said game, so I'll leave advice to other people.

I think the main thing here is that all of those players hated money and would call 2 bets cold on turn or 3 bet on flop regardless, so you didn't have to worry about losing customers.

It appears that everybody is interested in this pot. It doesn't look like anybody is going anywhere. I'd 3-bet right now and hope mp1 raises again. Besides, you don't know that MP1 is going to bet the turn for you. I'd start getting the money in right on the flop.

im pretty positive that mp1 check raising the flop will bet the turn, unless a Flush hits. Only problem i see with this is scaring away customers if a flush does hit on the turn. Plus then i can only call 1 bet and hope board pairs on the river.

A Q 5.

I'll chime in a bit.

Break down
-If he has 55/A5/AQ he will go nuts with you on turn regardless.
call 2 on flop: lose 4bb on flop
turn: get 24-32bb (3bet/4bet on turn regardless if he holds one of these hands)

-If he has a weaker hand/fd/gutshot and will bet turn UI but c/c all other hands.
call 2 on flop: gain 8bb on turn when you raise

Your main concern I guess should be what range is he more heavily weighed in? Category 1 or category 2? It's an 12bb difference in profit (as turn will go same if he has a monster). U go from losing 4bb if he has a category 1 hand and gaining 8bb if he has a category 2.

I can't even begin to guess how much money I've seen players lose because they 'didn't want to scare away customers'.

OP just go nuts. Your main concern here shouldn't be losing customers it should be whether you'll lose value by not raising immediately, and the answer to that is a big fat YES. The pot is massive and there are all kinds of draws out, raise whenever possible, people will call.
