I was just asking because in the current creditalist economic system most "capital" is credit.

right, but that's capital in the finacial sense, rather than in the economics sense of capital goods, tools, machinery, equipment, etc., which is what I was refering to; the physical factors of production. Money and credit can get you *access* to the factors of production, but I don't think that really makes it a capital good, so to speak. Although again, you're perfectly right in that it is *financial* capital.
