There's a trick - if you have a friend who got in and you recover his account on your 360 then you can download and play it on your accounts until you turn off your 360.

and yeah, my friend got the beta off ebay, logged into my account.. downloaded the cod4 to 1% then logged out.

I recovered my account, checked download history (cod4 listed) and i resume downloading so i can play.
