ok so my notes on this guy is hes tight doesnt overplay 1 pair and he also a a weak pokerdb. on flop i call planning to c/f on turn to a big bet i think hes capable of min raising top pair on flop but not dbl barreling it.i should have a tight image nobody prolly recognizes me and i havent played any hands really.

what do u guys think about my play on the hand any my plan on flop to folding to a big turn bet? how would u guys polay it differently?

Blind battles change how people play. All you did was raise from the SB and cbet, if he's got AT he perceives it as the nuts, not as "double barreling". To fold here you would have to put him on 22 and 33 every time, and that doesn't even account for bluffs. I would shove now and not let him get away from a ten if an over dropped on the river. If he's got you beat here, its a cooler. Also, I just noticed while writing the end of this that there's a flush draw on board. That makes this an even easier shove, imo.

I'd bet more on the flop which would make the c/f on the turn easier if you were inclined to do so. I def shove here though, but I'm not good at poker so don't listen to me.

Re: warm up hand

agreed. i'm never folding here. if you're beat here it's def a cooler, but you have to put him on exactly 222 or 333 every time here to make this fold. i think his range is wayyy wider.

Everyone is criticising your fold, but I think the root of the
problem is the flat call of the min raise on the flop. I would
3 bet the flop about pot size. Now if he shoves, its an easier fold isnt it?

Are you suggesting this thread needs a few more lines to criticize?
