Brag: Just got final version of my band (Random Mullet) CD
 

Sorry if this is not allowed / doesn't belong here. I just got the mixed & mastered version of my band's latest demo CD which we have been doing on and off for like 2 years, and it'd super cool to hear some feedback from 2+2 ballas.

We play progressive metal so it's pretty heavy, if you hate metal, don't download. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] It's got both growling and clean vocals.

I play saxophone and have done the orchestrations, plus have recorded/produced/edited a lot of it. So yeah, if you don't wanna download the songs, please give some feedback of the artwork (which I have done as well, with the help of istockphoto.com hehe)

Anyways, here's the 2nd song (which is the most straightforward, the other songs can be found on our website)

Cover is solid as hell. Good choice of font, most people [censored] up picking a font for their cover but you did nice.

I really liked it. Keep up the good work, will listen to the rest of the songs as soon as I get back home later. Actually, our first demo is being mixed right now so I'm pretty pumped. Not as good as this, but anyway [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] |,,|

Oh god I hate it.

But don't worry!

That's a good thing. I normally don't like this kind of music so if I did like it, that would probably mean it was too sissy and faggy and your were doing something wrong.

Thanks man! Actually I just sketched something on paper and scanned it. Turned out surprisingly good.

We're not 15 but yeah, I know what you mean. When we started this band, we weren't serious about it at all, so the name has just stuck from those times.
