im jamming pretty much any turn against an unknown. with ur 3/4 bet on flop you're definitely not deep enough to be checking turn for pot control. as played fold river.

Easy push on turn

You didn't bet enough on the flop, so he had the pot odds to chase his flush.

Re: 16$ : QQ

He bet enough on the flop to give a flush draw improper odds if we assume he is shoving the turn.

On the flop, he bets out 450. If the villain has 2 diamonds, he has the right odds to call this one.

Yes, I know that's assuming that he get's to see both cards for that one bet, but if he's holding over cards, like AKs, (likely, since he smooth called the raise after limping in) then it's more like a coin flip, and it's worth a call regardless.

I make notes on people that do that kind of thing, and my note taking more or less consists of what type of fish the villain is

OP: fine up to turn which as stated earlier should be shoved

You had no plan for your hand. You should have planned your hand out - something like "No overcards = 3/4 PSB on flop and AI on turn", "1 overcard on flop = check hand through or try turn steal if checked to", "2 overcard on flop = check/fold". Unless you're drawing or bluffing, putting 1/3rd of your stack in and then folding is really bad. After that flop bet you should have been 100% commited to getting your stack in.

All this stuff is in the Professional No Limit Volume I book which is of course for cash games but it's pretty good for postflop thinking in SnGs. Of course the book also recommends you put the person on a range and see what your equity is against that range but we're way ahead on this flop sooooo often it doesn't matter.
