Just after a winning your biggest pot of the night, get up straight away saying "I'll enjoy spending your money... suckers!"

OK - seriously I find it helps to let people know sometime in advance what time you plan on leaving the table although it's not strictly necessary.

you leave whenever you want to - you dont owe it to anyone in Vegas to sit at the table with them. When Im at home with friends, I dont appreciate hit and runs, but in a casino, there's no loyalty.

There is no etiquette rule for a casino. If I just happen to hit it big just before I intended to leave, I will generally play another orbit, which is usually about 20 minutes.

I remember doing this once and I tended to loosen up for that orbit, you know limping every hand or calling a modest raise. In that one orbit, I hit a set with limped 77 and then hit a straight flush with 98off! (wtf, no jackpot payoff). I then played for another orbit, folded every hand and left. Actually, they seemed happy to see me go.

if i'm talking to someone i might mention it off hand like 'yeah i got a drive ahead of me, i'm looking to get out of here at x oclock' if nobody is talking at the table i usually announce my last orbit to nobody in particular and leave.

-Stay a little bit (1 orbit seems right) after you make a pot
-In a small round the game gets looser, so i will announce if i intend to leave soon so everybody can adjust his play.

In the last round I intend to play, I always leave just before I take the BB, I'll mention to the dealer that I'm leaving before the BB and could I please get some racks. If others overhear me talking to the dealer thats fine but I don't specificly mention it to anyone at the table. Although if I've struck up some pleasant conversation with the player to my left I would mention to her that I'll be leaving before my blind as she'll be the one to get it. When I'm about two off BB I start racking them up.

My general procedure is that, when I decide to leave, I'll wait until I get on the button, then announce to the table that I'll be leaving when the blind returns to me. This seems to satisfy everyone involved.

When I'm planning on leaving, regardless of previous pots won, I do nothing until after my last hand (always UTG). Once I fold, I start packing myself up (put iPod in carrying pouch, look around for/grab a rack), etc. If my UTG hand ends before I'm ready to stand up, I tell the dealer to deal me out before he starts pitching cards.

Seriously, there is no etiquette at B&M for this. Get up and leave whenever you want, even if you stack 4 people in the previous hand. You don't owe the table any courtesy or any warning that they need to start getting their "9 handed" ranges ready or have any obligation to stay if you just won a big pot.
