Playing KJs out of the blinds...

Stats for around 100 hands:

MP - 24/10/3
CO - 33/13/inf.
Hero's image for 100 hands - 18/16/5 -- haven't 3-bet yet.

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $30.58
BB: $19.98
UTG: $15.85
MP: $11.29
CO: $0.00
BTN: $0.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players)
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.65, CO calls $0.65, Hero ???

MP's raise just seems so weak. What % of the time do you call and what % of the time do you squeeze here? Is folding too weak? Is squeezing too strong for NL25?

Thanks all.

Call% = 0.00

Options are squeeze and fold. Depend a little on history. Also I'd liek to see MP's attempt to steal #'s...while it isn;t a steal the #'s give an indication of his positional awarness. I'd also maybe look at CO's pre-flop call % although it's much less important with those VPIP and PFR #'s.

Standard is probably fold although sometimes reraise and if MP has a decently high attempt to steal and I know he can fold a squeeze can be coming.

It's small, so I might call, but am going to be very cautious. This hand is going to get you in trouble, so folding is not too weak. I don't like 3betting given MP's stack.

Basically it's nice that it's suited & 1-gapped because we can make flushes & straights with it postflop. However, villain is short - the implied odds we are going to be getting postflop are dramatically reduced by this. If he was at full stack, I might call. But the flops we are hitting and decide to continue with are usually ones with K or J, and a 10PFR is raising a lot of hands that dominate in that department.

I would comment more about the implied odds we are getting from CO, however his stack on flop seems to stand @ -.65 cents, and I don't know how good UB's credit policy is.

id leave the table, the CO is obviously stealing chips from the other players

Ah...I didn't really look at stack sizes...I just assumed 100BB's. Ok 3betting definitely gets much worse cause of MP's low stack size. So it's really leaning to fold IMO.

lol

Unless you are seeing a high ATS% from the CO, this is an instamuck. Calling is horrible, and KJ is suicide for you here, since you will never feel comfortable flopping either a J of a K OOP.

Squeezing at 25nl can be profitable in the right situations, but you need to have the right villain, and the right kind of hand.

I would be much happier squeezing 67s here, than KJ

Me too although it doesn't mean you never 3bet or squeeze KJ.

And, OP, fix stack sizes or something. It's messed up somehow.

I actually don't mind calling in this spot. KJs isn't really the best hand to squeeze with imo.
