Is the Wheel straight A2345 higher or lower than 23456 in the card rankings?

ace is high OR low, the 5 high straight loses to the 6 high

yes a2345 is lower than 23456. in ring games if there has beena few limpers and i am in late position ill call with any suited ace. ace-x. what tends to happen alot to me, for some reason, is that instead of hitting the flush i actually make a low straight a-5..

but beware of course, even though this hand is quite hidden, you'll be beat by anyone holding x-6
