PSA: High stakes iPoker players
 

On April 16th iPoker (Noble, Titan, VC etc) imposed a stealthy rake increase at NL$5k+, PL$5k+, $50-$100+.

The rake had been $1 HU, $2 4 handed, $3 6 handed like most places. It doubled to $2 HU, $5 4 handed or more.

Unfortunately iPoker didn't tell very many people about this. Some of the skins knew and put the information on the website. However the old rake information was maintained in the client.

I noticed this 3 weeks ago days ago and I spoke to my affiliate (Mike owner of Greenjokerpoker.com). He promised to let iPoker know about the issue and that he would get my rake back. 2 days ago, Ipoker acknowledged the problem and told him that according to their records I was due $20 (lol). He got them to recheck the records and eventually I got the extra rake refunded in full.

Anyone who has played these games, I suggest you contact your skin or affiliate. Mine was extremely helpful but left me wondering how the guys who run iPoker manage to get dressed in the morning, never mind run a poker site.

is the rake still this crazy high?

Also, how is the rake structure at 1/2-5/10?

yeah the rake is still this high and I doubt it will go down.

The rake at other levels is capped at $1 HU, $2 4+ handed, $3 6+ handed. Maybe lower at micro stakes.
