Thats a sh*tload of hands. You can get the same with that many stars FPP's, prolly more.

I don't believe you can get the same for the main-event.

With the way Stars is set-up, it would appear that their WSOP package might take 250k raked-hands or so (depending on how quickly you reach super-nova and where they set the price).

So 160k raked hands (of only 0.3 minimum) for $10k seat isn't really that bad an offer. But I'm not sure the game-selection is too fantastic there either. And obviously it's tough to get in all those hands before the end of the month.

I would have to go back and check the prices...but I suspect you are correct that Stars-VIP might be better for the smaller events.
60k hands for a $1k seat (perhaps $2.5k value package) doesn't strike me as an amazing deal.

Are US players elgible?

I know Betfair (crypto) has a good WSOP promo going, but it's non-US players only

well, you can play martins poker for $1000 bonus for ~4000 pts, and sensepoker (?) for $1200 bonus for 9000 vip points.

All on the same network. Pretty close to the $2500 package for 12k points.

(dont know if martins poker still has the bonus, but sensepoker does)

There is a site giving away 2 wsop seats for free. They are basing the play on their play money tables. No raked hands involved. I'm not divulging the info as I'm shooting for the seats. Just thought I'd rub it in your faces, ha ha ha ha.

May want to reread the original post. The promo is offered by 24hPoker, not Martins or Sense.

Also, the $2500 package is 120k pts, not 12k.

how many hands must one play to get 60,000 VIP points?

Is there rakeback for 24h poker?

Dude, you're totally misreading what the guy said. He said that INSTEAD of putting all your play on 24h for their promotion, you could take advantage of the deposit bonus at Martin's and Sense and come up with 2200$ for a significantly lower point total, which in comparison, is almost the same value as one of the smaller packages.

End translation.
