It was something with ellipses in it, like "sir...ty", can't remember exactly.

I mean, I did shove, and I'm definitely not a results oriented person. But if the guy doesn't suck, what is his range here? Are we really a better than 3-1 favorite to be ahead?

Maybe this IS 100% standard, and it clearly would be if the button had shown any spewy tendencies, or shown himself to suck. But this player had seemed pretty good, I'd been at the same table the entire tourney.

Also, if I check and he shoves into a dry sidepot, should my thought process be "well, he has TT or JJ one in three times after calling four bets pre despite seeming like a sane, solid player...instacall!"

Maybe it should be, that's why I'm posting here, to get thoughts. But it felt immediately to me like I was ignoring a lot of evidence in front of me by auto-shoving.

you really c/f here? i mean i need a strong read that this villian is very good, other wise with 6k left in my stack and 10k in the pot, i cant see myself folding

Re: Ugly spot with QQ in $109

The thing is that 6K is still an M of 20, and what hand other than AA and maybe KK makes sense? I just don't know, I mean, I almost feel like I need a read that the guy sucks and likes to spew to put more chips in the pot after that preflop action.

Again, I am NOT results oriented, couldn't care less about results, I'm mostly interested in the thought process here, if it's really a "ZOMG CALL QQ" kinda spot despite the evidence.
