Line check, AA gets c/minraised on the flop

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $186.20
BB: $303.95
UTG: $52.25
MP: $144.40
Hero (CO): $103.40
BTN: $98.90

Reads: villain is like 37/0 over 40 hands. haven't seen much out of him really.

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP calls $1.00, Hero raises to $4.50, 3 folds, MP calls $3.50

Flop: ($10.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP checks, Hero bets $7.50, MP raises to $15.00, Hero calls $7.50

Turn: ($40.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP checks, Hero checks

River: ($40.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP bets $27.00, Hero calls $27.00

I don't really see any other way to play this...standard? i would fold the river if he bet closer to pot.

Yeah. Well played all around. His minraise (based on his stats), could mean something [censored] like K8 or K3.

i think villain has Kx often enough to bet the turn

Seems fine to me.

However, I think an argument can be made for betting the turn. If you always check here w/ these hands, then it will be pretty obvious when you have a flush in this spot.

I'm not saying always bet the turn, but I think you should a certain % of the time.

i thought FDs were in his range on the flop, so i opted to go for pot control and try to get to showdown when the flush hit on the turn.

i would include FD's in his range as well. but, if you check the turn you're going to be facing a bet on the river if he has Kx or a flush. so, you might as well charge him on the turn for the times if he has Kx. if you get c/r, then you were drawing dead anyway.

also, were you planning to bet the river if checked to? if so then it is definately better to bet this turn

3bet the flop probably since the board is drawy.

I think you played it the 2nd most optimal way though.
