True Story

When I was 19 or 20 (16 years ago or so), I went into a card store (Hallmark) to buy a card for someone.

I tend to drink lots of diet cokes.

I'm standing in line with one person in front of me and realize I've got to go to the bathroom really, really bad.

It's taking forever in line and I'm going nuts.

So, I'm sitting there thinking, "I wonder if I can let just a little bit out and relieve the pressure."

The answer is "No..you can't."

I tried.

Now standing at the register with #1 running down my leg at a volume that I thought was deafening.

I pay for the card.

Leave the store (never return, btw).

Drive home.

Walk into the garage and throw my jeans and my shoes and socks into the garbage can.

Lesson for guys: You can't let just a little bit out.

True story.

Wish it wasn't.

Hope this helps someone.

Isn't this common knowledge? I mean, most males over potty-training age know that it's a bitch if not impossible to stop once it's started.

Jesus, this is in the running for dumbest male-issue revelation of the week against the guy in OOT who swore there was a connection between morning wood and having to pee. Duhhhh, like it's called "piss hard" for no reason.

"Isn't this common knowledge? "

*******
Not completely common. It didn't happen last year but I was certainly in college at the time. I'm a musician and a pretty right brained person.

I just miss out on some common sense things at time.

When I was 4ish, my father had 2 jobs.

1. He was a cop
2. He worked a the funeral home.

When you're 4 and your dad says he's got to work the 'graveyard shift, which job would you assume he was talking about?

I just figured since he was a cop, then he would be a logical person to walk the graveyard and make sure everything is fine (no 'body' got up and left..etc)

Some slight A.D.D. and some things don't always sink in.

Plenty of things you'd think guys knew about automatically, some of us miss.

Just part of life.

Oh well.

There was just some really random response here about something and I thought I might as well post something random as well.

Figured on being flamed a decent amount.

Somebody told me that it didn't usually start until you had 25 posts.

Cool.
