AK on cordinated board HU
Villain is loose and somewhat aggressive. Flop hits a lot of his range so whats my play the turn when he calls?
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, CO folds, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, UTG+1 calls. Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (7.5SB, 2 players) UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls. Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4.75BB, 2 players) UTG+1 checks, Hero ? |
Re: AK on cordinated board HU
you most definitely must bet this. he has lots of dominated hands that aren't dominated anymore but are behind and will call. check behind on the river if he calls.

Re: AK on cordinated board HU
I bet for a free showdown vs hands like AJ, AQ, KQ, KJ. Most players would not go for a c/c c/r semibluff on this board so you can safely fold to a raise.

Re: AK on cordinated board HU
Bet, don't be giving free cards here. What to do against a raise depends on villain, but with just "loose and somewhat aggressive" to go by, I'd fold.

Re: AK on cordinated board HU
his range is likely weighted towards hands like overcards, gutshot+overcard(s), because most players would c/r a pair or strong draw on the flop
bet for sure, and I think you can fold to a raise |
Re: AK on cordinated board HU
Say he called the flop with something like 77-33, AQs-A6s, K7s+, QTs-Q9s, J9s+, 87s, AQo-A7o, KJo+.
Then I only have 43% equity. So my quistion is why I should i bet the turn here with less than 50% equity? 3,306,785 games 31.529 secs 104,880 games/sec Board: 9c Ts 8d Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 43.556% 42.13% 01.43% 1393146 47364.50 { AsKs } Hand 1: 56.444% 55.02% 01.43% 1819361 47364.50 { 77-33, AQs-A6s, K7s+, QTs-Q9s, J9s+, 87s, AQo-A7o, KJo+ } |
Re: AK on cordinated board HU
discount every hand with a pair or a strong draw by 1/2 and see what you get
edit: also you forgot to input the turn card |
