Folded QQ preflop w/ 30bb

I feel dirty every time I do this.

Stars Second chance. Raise/4bettor is bdbeatslayer, whose name i recognize. i have him with nitty stats through a couple hundred hands.. like 12/6 so it probably means a little something. Other guy is an unknown.

Obviously I don't always flat it the first time.

This is good of course whenever you tilt shove he has AA and whenever you make a good fold he has AK, but w/e.

Not a fan of the call PF with half the table still to act.

As played, looks like an easy fold versus this guy.

with half the table to act is why I prefer flat calling here then 3betting.

I'm more worried about the 3bettor than the 4bettor. Look at his bet size.

I think it comes down to how large (or small I guess) your stack has to be before you willing to stack off under any circumstance. What I mean is I can't imagine we are ever folding KK/AA PF no matter how the action goes. So at what point do we consider playing QQ passively for the sole purpose of controlling the pot and avoiding PF allin decisions. We are 32BB here. When are you comfortable with a raise?

if the 3 bettor was guaranteed to fold I'd snap call

so threebettor called the shove with AK, shover had 88, and a Q flopped to salt the wound.

I still think there has to be KK+ out there most of the time with this action. Agree with those who were worried about the threebettors betsize, couple that with the nit stats I had on the shover, I think the fold is right.
