10/20 Stars

unknown opens, I 3bet red AA in sb, bb a 22/11 guy calls unknown caps.

Flop QQ3r

I cr flop, bb 3bets, unknown calls.

turn:

7 completes rainbow.

check, bet, call, call.

river:T

check, check, bet, I cr planning on folding to any 3 bet.

Should I just go for an overcall here? Comments on all streets welcome.

I just noticed my post is kinda messy. I cr the button on flop. bb cold 3d. the river action went check, bb checks, button bets, I cr.

I think the 22/11 guy can lay down any of the pp hands he could have to 2, but crying call for 1. Someone could still easily have trips, and more action could go in on the river. I think this is pretty spewy, and happily go for the overcall.

yes easy overcall IMO.

It seems easy on paper, but I think its pretty hard for the button to have anything other than KK or JJ. I think that bb spewed on the flop and now realizes that he is up at least one scared overpair. I feel like he will fold and I am missing vvalue from KK, or JJ.

The nice thing about going for an overcall here is that you are getting the overcall 100% of the time the way the action has gone down.

button played his hand exactly like a queen. he coldcalled the flop on a totally drawless board. if he's got KK, he's gonna cap that flop. he just called the turn, because he wants you to call drawing almost dead. on the river, if he somehow has JJ or KK, he likely beats noting once you c/r and is gonna fold anyway as the T is an awful card. imo the times you get the overcall from BB greatly outweigh the times you get in a c/r and get button to call with a worse hand.

Yeah, this is weird. I just couldnt shake the feeling that he had a big hand pf. Though I had no stats on him he seemed way to passive in a 4-handed game. Should have included this in the OP. I never put him on a Q, though I was certainly worried about TT. I would expect a turn raise out of a Q by button, bc it seemed that was what BB was repping. I mean he cold 3bs me after I cr the pf capper.
