Bachelor Party in Vegas Feb 28 - Mar 3

I'm involved in the planning of a bachelor party trip to Vegas 2/28 - 3/3. The guy in charge found a deal for about $600/person for a direct flight from Philly to Vegas and three nights (four to a room) in Circus Circus.

Good deal? If not, can anyone point me in a direction for assistance?

Don't have a bachelor trip at Circus Circus.

How many guys is it? You need the hotel for four nights, correct? Is each guy staying all four nights?

Circus Circus sucks. It looks like you could get a roundtrip on Southwest from Philly for about $310, so even if you had to pay $400 for flight, your deal would be $800 for three nights at Circus Circus. I think you are getting screwed. Check TravelAxe for rooms, and Southwest for flights (you may want to sign up for their Ding Fares, you could find a bargain since you are so far out). You may still be a little far out for good rates on the hotels, so maybe book the best you can get through hotel website and keep checking (don't book through Orbitz/Expedia/etc. if you think you want to change because I don't think they are refundable).

Then the deal your friend found is not very good at all. I've found it's not a good idea to book flight+hotel together, and it's also not a good idea to book through third parties. Do your research through the third parties, and book directly with the airline/hotel because it's usually cheaper (and hotels usually price match if you find a cheaper rate through a third party)

If each guy is willing to pay $600, you could stay at a much better place than Circus Circus.

What specific nights do you need? This is important because hotel prices in Vegas vary widely depending on the day.

Yes, but he said "3 nights." 2-28 to 3/3 is four nights. I'm guessing they are going one night without a hotel.

I did a little bit of research and you can get Flamingo from Thurs 2/28 to Sun 3/2 (3 nights) for $400 per room(that's total price, after taxes and fees) using the Harrah's best rate guarantee.

That's only $100 each for hotel, so if you can get plane tickets for $300, that's only $400 each for a much better hotel in much better location on the strip.

Listen to D, he knows what he's talking about. He's available to plan your trip for a small fee too.
