Rep a bluff here?

Villan is a random fish. No reads.

I am not folding this hand, so...

I was thinking just shove (140 into 100) to rep the naked ace.
Or is C/R getting max value?

since donks seem to think floating is so cool these days, I c/r all in here, and laugh when they fold with 2/3 of their stack in the middle.

Re: Rep a bluff here?

You rep a flush a lot more than you rep the naked ace with a turn shove. I would just c/f the turn. 8x and a flush seem like a large part of his range. Medium pairs are possible too, but that could be potentially less likely dependent on if he raises them preflop. Most players will check behind with 55 or a medium pair on the turn. If the turn gets checked through. I think a 1/2 pot value bet on the river is good.

Do things change when the board is more likely to hit villan somehow, like 8723?

To answer my own question, I guess checking is opmtimal, as villan is betting close to 100% of his weak ass range, but calling a shove with only a couple hands.

Does my line change against a thinking winnar?

Re: Rep a bluff here?

If you're set on not folding, C/R gets the max value out of his floats. If he checks through, you can value bet the river. If he has an 8 or a flush, the money will go in no matter what.

So I think, c/f>c/r>shove, but a lot of it depends on how often you think he floats.

Well, I think the turn gets checked through a lot when hero is ahead, and villain is typically drawing slim in that situation (like 2 outs). If villain bets, we only beat a float. Idk, maybe I'm being too nitty?

A random short fish is floating this flop ALOT. They're betting pairs, naked draws, and trips+ on this turn.
