fun game for bragging rights type money.....

1/2 NL live (9 handed).

Fun little home game with a mix of 3 good players and 6 pretty awful ones. Noone takes the game too seriously with the stakes small but holding bragging rights for winning means something definitely.

BB: $220
UTG(me): $250
EP: $75
MP: $55

I am viewed as probably the best player in the game (that should tell you how weak the game plays) and am UTG.

MP is an ambitious girl wanting to learn the game but still just makes many many fundamental errors. She is definitely a much better tournament player and seems to apply those concepts to cash games. Doesn't quite grasp the small nuances yet.

BB is probably the second best player at the table. He likes to play lots of pots (especially if he's winning) and plays like a solid 1/2 online TAG. Capable of some moves but not a spewer.

I raise to $7 UTG with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. EP,MP and BB call.

($29) Flop comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. BB checks, I...

Opinions on flop action with a plan for future action/streets before I continue.

I'm definitely betting this flop. $22-25 seems good.

Well MP is pretty irrelevant to me here (other than being a girl that plays poker) being so short. If I bet and get c/r'd by the short stack I'm calling always.

Mega drawy board, can't give a free one, I'd fire a quarter on the flop.

If the big stack c/r's me hard it's a tough spot. You know him best, if he c/r's top pair and draws a good amount (and not just sets or the nuts) I think you'll need to shove over his c/r 4 handed here.

A friend was talking to me about these types of boards and multiway.

I'm not sure if b/f-ing is the way to go on this flop. Thoughts on c/c-ing flop and pounding blank turns (where our equity is much higher)?

or is that a play better used when HU and not multiway?

Orange,

With 4 people seeing this flop, how many cards are complete blanks?

Also, what if I were to add that the BB would c/r here rather then bet out himself almost always. How does that affect our line?

b/f for multi-way and c/c-rai when you are HU

see stack sizes. bet and commit vs 2 shorties obv. Make a decision if big stack shows interest

Would someone please like to provide a range for the other big stack for a possible c/r. I mean if we are all convinced that the shorty doesn't affect our status then we really just need to focus on the BB, right?

Just wondering, because of where the stacks lie (shorty on my left and biggum on my right) does that affect whether we are betting out or checking to either call, raise or fold depending upon action?

I feel we need to delve a little deeper here then give generic answers. Small nuances create a unique situation where we may accidentally or purposefully set ourselves up to be squeezed. Should I be viewing my hand in terms of value? Bluff? Neither at this point? What line best represents the way we view our hand?

Think you're making too much out of this.

You probably have the best hand, so you're looking at it for value.

Bet out and see what the shorties do, then what BB does. If one or both shorts get involved the pot is obv protected, so you wont need to worry about BB making a bluff as much.

Did BB make a big crai with a draw over top of a shorties push and take you off the winner or something?

Give us the action for the next street.

OK, seems this spot bores people. Oh well.

I bet $22, EP folds, MP shoves for $48 total, BB then insta shoves for whatever he got...

I ????
