Loc: gettin' no respect [/ QUOTE ] hm, I can see why. lol. I don't hate this actually, but I wouldn't make a habit of it against unknowns. I think draws make up a large part of his range on the river, so shoving probably isn't horrible. He can't have a set/straight/flush here, he definitely has something marginal that you might be able to push him off of. So shove and watch him snap call JT. |

Well he is unknown, so you dont know about how good he is, but would u would not have bet turn so weak with 77/99/TT/T9/J8 etc.

Re: 3-barrels against an unknown...how spewy is this?
looks very good. If he c/c off his stack you have a buddy. (BTW the decision is made on the turn not the river) |
Re: 3-barrels against an unknown...how spewy is this?
when i do this I usually get called with top pair and medium kicked...players are so bad....sigh

Re: 3-barrels against an unknown...how spewy is this?
The reason for the flop/turn sizing was to setup a decent-sized river shove FWIW.

Re: 3-barrels against an unknown...how spewy is this?
Just judging by this hand this opponent isn't standard. You really aren't representing much with this hand, and villian has called on 2 streets. He's probably calling your river bet with anything other than a missed draw. I really don't think a lone Ah is a huge part of his range.
FWIW, I usually check behind on the turn. That 4 doesn't change anything and without a read that villan floats OOP the turn bet is a spew IMO. |
Re: 3-barrels against an unknown...how spewy is this?
They'll always put you on a missed draw.

You really aren't representing much with this hand [/ QUOTE ] Huh? The rest of your advice looks good...but I disagree completely that I'm not repping anything. JJ/QQ/KK/AA w/ a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], X[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T, set, flush, etc etc. There are a ton of hands I'd bet/bet/shove w/ here. |
