...and I was wondering why do they leave the murder weapon at the scene of the crime? Why not throw the gat in a river yo?!?! Experienced thugs please reply wit da truth and life storiez.

Gangstas always wear gloves and drop the weapon at the scene. Obv it has to be a clean gun, but it's better than walking around for a minute with a murder weapon on you.

...so if the piece has prints dump it in a river but if its premeditated and your wearing gloves just drop it at the scene?...

Field/river would require you to hold on to the gun (trying to conceal it ldo) as you're walking out of the place. If you just drop it one second after firing, next to nobody can testify that they actually saw you holding the gun.

Defense: "But did you see my client actually fire the gun?"
Witness: "Well no, but..."
Defense: "Did you even see him holding it at any point?"
Witness: "Well I guess not, but..."

End.

I also have no idea if this is correct, just a guess.

lololol that was hillarious when clemenza had him grab the cannolies. Anyway ya they put tape on the gun so it wouldnt leave prints, its also an untraceable gun so its better to just drop at the scene instead of getting caught down the road with it.
