Villain is 16/12/3.

This villain is pretty nitty and folds a little too much which made me think I wouldn't get paid off if the flush hit. I thought I might fold out PPs QQ and below and KK a teeny tiny part of of the time by pushing the flop.

My only concern is the "nit's" flop raising range after calling your preflop raise =&gt; from my experience, whatever they raise here they'll call your shove with so I think you don't have too much fold equity besides maybe JJ/QQ (does THIS player raise JJ/QQ here?). Also, any idea how he perceives you? I think shoving or calling can be pretty close depending on the player.

you dont need FE here, your a small favorite against an overpair w/out a diamond a small dog to one with it, either way get your money in, you sure as hell dont want to be pushed off the hand on the turn if you whiff.

Yes. As the matter of fact most of the hands I play are ones where I raised PF. And sometimes I get lost on exactly how to handle things [/sarcasm]

Seriously though, I'm trying to un-nit myself a bit and trying to learn how to think about some situations where I normally just fold pre flop. Deep stacks hurt my head a little more.
