Re: NL100 - KQ Trips Riverplay

ok so he will bet ~35$ and what am I gonna do NOW?

carnivalhobo 08-20-2007 06:10 PM

Re: NL100 - KQ Trips Riverplay

if he bets 35 i think we can call and its +EV.

just thinking about his range it is pretty much AJ+cc, 66/KQ/AK? im sure he can show up with some other crap too but that seems reasonable to me.

any read?

if he's loose or average, it's solid play. you have three of a kind with a very good kicker, Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

the absolute value of hero's holding bears little relation to the way most hands should play out

My last sentence implied that the situation, i.e. the Big Blind is the opponent, means that the Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is an excellent kicker that should not fear being outkicked by the Big Blind

i agree that villain rarely has a better K, you just made my point that his range by the river is bluffs/boats so c/c > bet/call
