big pot with 77

initial pfr is a donktard maniac who i constantly seek out to play with.... other two are unknown.

i 3-bet to isolate but that worked about as well as the falcons trading matt schaub...

Flop: (17 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, MP checks, CO checks, Hero bets, SB calls, MP calls, CO calls.

Turn: (10.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, MP checks, CO checks, Hero bets, SB calls, MP folds, CO calls.

River: (13.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, CO checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 13.50 BB

i feel a river bet is basically a bluff here.....if it was just me and donktard i would bet all day, but what could sb have that i possibly beat that would call?

Forget about iso raising and fold equity at that limit. They don't exist there.

That said, as played, on the turn, the board just got more coordinated with 3 overcards and 3 villains, i start checking.

I like it. No value in a river bet really. If you get called on the river it'll be by 8x/Qx/99/TT way more often than ace high, a deuce, or 33-66. Betting the flop is good, turn is questionable, but I'll always err on the side of aggression there

I give up on the turn.

With all the preflop callers, this is a terrible flop for you. Your flop bet isn't going to make everyone fold, so I'm probably checking behind on flop.

As played, your river play is fine...

agreed. That turn hits like everyone you were ahead of on the flop.

That is probably true, but I think on average he has good equity here so the bet is for both value and protection - get some unpaired hands to fold.

By the time that turn hits and all those people are still in the pot, I give up with the betting and start with the checking.

that turn is a death card. If you are winning, they probably have 20+ outs against you. When you are losing, you have 2.

I probably fold PF, or if the conditions are good, I might CC, but I usually fold

No hands that put 4 SB in a 4-way pot pf is gonna fold to 1SB on the flop at that limit. Check flop and fold UI on turn.
