50NL - pf open shoving villains

Villain is [whatever]. He made some gross preflop overbets earlier in the session, but nothing happened to make him tilt AFAIK.

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $50.60
Hero (BB): $49.25
UTG: $54.00
MP: $24.25
CO: $58.30
BTN: $38.80

Preflop: Hero is dealt Ahttp://legopoker.com/hh/images/diamond.gif 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG raises all-in to $54.00, 4 folds, Hero ?

Now it's the third hand in a row he does this with. Can we assign him a random range now? If so we've 58% equity. If not, than what range do we give him? What's the worst hand we need to call? How many times in a row need he do this to get this nice "random" in PokerStove?

I post this because i run into those kinds every so often.

lol i fold quick, even if I know villain is doing it all the time.

Even if we're not behind, way too much variance for my liking

Fold and wait for a better hand

There's no way I'm calling this. Give me AJ/AQ and I'll think about it.

instafold

If this is his 3rd time in a row, I'd probably want 99+,AJ+,KQs to call.

Fold unless you're a compulsive gambler and hate money.

No...this is a very high variance situation where you are putting 100bb in to a pot with a marginal hand. There is a situation where you are just gambling, not playing good sound poker.

Whats the simple thought...small hand small pot, big hand big pot...we have a bad hand. Let it go.

Ok. But that really is not the point of the post. The thing that interests me more is what range do we assign villain here and what are our calling requirements, because obviously we can call much wider than AA.
