Go to Oceans 11, if for nothing else, the menu.

barona has a pretty bad 1/2 game..max buyin $60, and their tournaments are $35 with blinds going up every 10-15 mins..basically a crapshoot and you only start with 2k chips

oceans 11 > *, its like 30-45min north of SD though

Tournaments at Barona are 30 on weekend mornings 10 a.m. and 40 on weeknights M-th.

Blinds go up every 15 min. and the starting stack is 2200

levels
25-50
50-100
100-200
200-400
300-600
500-1000
1000-2000
2000-4000
3000-6000
5000-10000
10000-20000
that's about as high as it can go

I will be visiting in the near future, what about Viejas? Seems a little closer, 20+ tables?

I am not looking for tournaments, only LLNL.

Thanks.

Bump.

Any local opinions on where to play LLNL for an out-of-towner? I am staying near the airport if that makes any difference in drive time.

depends on which airport, LAX or SD? im assuming SD.

Also depends on what limits you want to play?
Low ? (4-8 Lim, 2/5 NL) Any indian casino next to you, barona viejas, sycuan in that order

High ? Oceans 11. Commerce (if in LA)

Thanks freedom.

SD airport. Anything from 1-2 to 2-5 NL.

A comment above said that the Barona 1-2 game was bad with a max 60 buy-in. Perhaps this is the same structure everywhere in the SD area?

Viejas has 1-2 NL $100 max and their 1-3 game is $300 max.
