Stars $109; Zeebo Theorem time
 

Villain seemed competent but it's early so I have no real line on his play yet. Two part question. 1. What's my best line on the flop and 2. Is this river an easy fold?

Imo I think flop play is ok, I was ready to fold if he bets turn again though (not sure if that's good or not because it's really exploitable). The river shouldn't really have helped him unless he's raising my flop lead w/ Ax but that's kind of spewy if he is.

Interesting to compare this hand to the one posted in HSMTT earlier and realize tournaments are all about the stack sizes and pretty much retarded.

Anyway, on this hand, I think you can play it a number of ways I think it's better to give up after getting raised on the flop if your plan is to fold to a turn. The river is a pretty easy fold imo. I think I might c/c the flop and see how he acts when checked to on the turn. Mainly, I just really want to get to showdown with this hand.

True but in that hand villains range is more defined because of effective stack sizes and his preflop action. In my hand stacks are much deeper.

Anyways what hands are betting this river? I think he checks behind w/ 99-TT. My hand is (unfortunetly) pretty definded I believe. I almost never have Ax, and given my flop bet-call villain probably puts me on some midpair 99-JJ. How unlikely do you think it is he's raising the flop w/ 22-66 planning on folding to a push and betting the river as a bluff?

Btw for the record I timebanked for like 30 sec. and ended up folding, but something about it didn't feel right.

I bet more on flop, and reraise him again. The only hands I really fear are 99-TT, but on this flop, he could have a a lot of small pair, Ax, and some complete air trying to get you off the hand. I fold river though, since Ax is a big part of his range IMO.
