bachelor party required?

i'm not in the wedding party, since he got enganged, we never hang out anymore, and barely talk.

it will be very lame.

if it is required, can i just do a pop in to the strip club, buy him a lap dance, then break out?

If you guys were good friends once or long time friends and because of that you feel obligated to go, then yes, drop in buy him a dance or drinks and take off.

Or just don't go.

to the bachelor party? i might not be. depends if it's a "required" thing, if you're invited. do the grooms usually expect everyone invited to come?

I think you're probably better off not going - say you have other commitments. It looks worse just showing up for 10 minutes and then taking off.

I just had my bachelor party in Vegas last weekend. Ten guys were invited, but only six attended. One even cancelled last minute.

I have no hard feelings at all towards any of the guys that did not show. They did each have legitimate reasons for bailing, though.
