Bluff vs JaBlue

JaBlue seems pretty good and agressive most of you prob know him better than me. No history so far this session. Are these plays profitable, Im like pretty sure he doesnt have a set and I make him fold all 1 pair hands and 5's-9's?
Like it?

i think it looks pretty strong.

not sure how you ruled out him having a set, but whatever, seems good if he doesn't have a set...

This will work often enough. A lot of people don't use stackadonk with sets and big PPs anymore because it is so transparently strong, which turns it back into a good bluffing play.

Re: Bluff vs JaBlue

given the no history so far, i'd rather wait and do this line with a real hand and see what he does. if he pays you off then i'd be more inclined to use this line as a bluff next time given he'd know that's how you played it strong the last time (for sure though he may think you wouldn't repeat the same line with another strong hand) but i think the first time after he paid you off you can get away with the bluff. maybe show that bluff and confuse him.

if he folds in this hand, are you showing? fwiw i think with no history this is an insta-show.

its also a great value shove since he will call with 89 before he calls with AJ or something
