Quick Dumb Question
 

I just googled how to clean my laptop, but everything I read just said to use a "cleaning solution". Why KIND of cleaning solution should I use? I just want to get all the spooge off the keyboard, monitor, etc. Also, I used to clean the fans in on my desktop computer. I assume my notebook also has fans. Do they come apart? Any help with cleaning a laptop would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about the fans too much, you can't get at them like a desktop. Maybe blow them out with some compressed air?

I use iKlear products for cleaning my PowerBook and iPhone and it works well. You can find little cleaning kits at Apple stores and bigger computer stores.

i've always used eye glass cleaning solution.

google says strong stuff like windex will damage the coating on the LCD.
