villian is same as AA 300bb hand, gives a ton of action but I have never seen this play before. fwiw we're on 3 tables when this happened and he just lost 2 stacks fairly quickly. he is known to tilt hard from my experience.

he shows up with good hands when he puts in big money but if there's a chance hes tilting and making this shove with worse kicker or flush draws makes this more incined to call, right? how often do you call here?

I raise button to 150 with ATo he calls in BB obv

flop comes T 5 5 (two diamonds) and he check raises my $300 bet all in for $5k

I think AT is the boarder of my calling/folding range but I am not sure which side it should be in. I think JJ is an unquestionable double fist pump snap call and KT is a pretty easy fold but what do we do with AT here and how often?

i played a marathon session with villian last night, lost 100k and have been questioning my plays ever since and figured HSNL is the best place to bring them up rather than BBV where they will just tell me the same BS every time (sit out preflop, etc.)

with that said why does that mean AT isnt a huge part of his range? you think he is more likely to make this play with a FD? underpair? trips/boat?

oh btw, I dont think I had the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] which makes it more likely he has NFD but still unable to really be too sure how much of his range that takes up

vs a tighter (preflop) opponent i think its much less likely to be 5x but this guy has so much trouble folding anything suited or connected preflop OOP that basically every 5 is in his range

from all the posts about this guy he sounds like an idiot. when you start the post with 'he just dropped 2 stacks and has been known to tilt hard' you kinda skew the responses. it's possible he has a 5/overpair and is making a smart overbet but i get the impression this guy isn't that smart.

this is hu right? i think you see two diamonds all day. maybe some weaker tens. rarely a 5. overpair unlikely unless you know hes capable of just calling it preflop, which i doubt he does given how little respect you give him.

not that i have any RIGHT to even reply, ( since
i am a measly micro/micro player ), i posted a
similar question in the micro stakes, and everyone
said "CALL CALL CALL, he's obviously bluffing."

i did and i won. the consensus was, if he had
better then 10's, he probably would've raised
PF. if he hit the 5's, wouldn't he have made
a more sensible play, like call, min-raise,
etc... hoping to get paid off later.
