Stars: Flip over your cards!

From BT2

[ QUOTE ]
A while ago the MTT forum got enough support, and stars changed their sunday million structure. Stars has great customer service.

When people go all in before the river, currently stars does not flip the cards over until the end. This is done at many live casinos. However, this is online. It is a pain in the butt to search the hand history, and it is horrible trying to guess what the opponent has.

If you are in support of this change, then voice your opinion here.

I have no idea why this isn't already implemented. There seems to be 0 reasons to not turn over the cards after all-ins.

They flip cards over for tournaments- for cash games they do not anymore. In live cash games you do not have to show your cards, and stars changed it to this after a year or so at customers' requests. If you played on stars back in 2000 or so, you would have seen some ridiculous all in calls. Like 44 calling allin on a AKKJ suited board. Then 3 or so players (maybe a couple of railbirds, too) would comment on the call making the player feel like the idiot he is. That's a good reason not to display the hole cards in cash games.

Yes, but I would rather have one random player that is prob never gonna show back up at the limit anyways do that then have to have a heart attack every single freakin all-in

In Live cash games you can ask to see what the player mucked. The dealer will touch the cards to the muck and then show. Some casinos the person in the hand has to ask, others anyone at the table that was dealt in can ask to see them.
Ive seen guys grab the cards out of the dealers hands and throw the cards down so people couldnt see....Then they get thrown out

Can you have suspense with ingnorance (ignorance of your opponent's cards)? To me, all-ins are quite silly not knowing what the other player has. Much more fun to know what you're up against. The board cards don't mean anything otherwise until they ship the chips one way or the other.

Yes, I'm well aware of the IWTSTH rule. The point is, in live cash games, you do not have to show your cards during the hand for any reason. Upon completion, if someone wants to see the hand they are allowed to, but this was put into place as a means to prevent collusion, which is why at all sites you are allowed to see the hand via the HH.
