Re: AA 3/6
Im not even sure that id raise this flop. Youre basically trying to get value from AK but risk getting 3 bet by KK QQ TT. I hate the cap, but would still call down because you have outs+the chance you might be good+the pot is big.

Re: AA 3/6
Looks good to me. Dude could be spazzing out with AK, AJ, KJ, or JJ.

When you have one pair against a PF capper on a broadway flop, be wary.

The difference between calling the flop and capping the flop isn't much here, and you're last to act. The calldown is ok because you might still be ahead, but had he checkraised you on either of the big streets you'd know you're behind in the hand. |
Re: AA 3/6
I would raise the flop to define my hand but just call down from the 3-bet. Small chance we are still best, but we have outs and definetly want to see a showdown.

[/ QUOTE ] no, you don't need to define your hand. he's is going to bet every hand you bet every street raising for info is not worth it here. FWIW, if you raise the flop, and get three bet, you should call the three bet, call the turn, and fold the river UI, because you "defined" your hand, and now you are only calling to hit the gutshot. trust me, call flop, call turn, call river, next hand. Your hands isn't good enough to raise this flop. |
Re: AA 3/6
I might be wrong here but I still think AA is good enough even on this scary flop to put in a raise for value. Once 3-bet I will call down but I find it too passive to just call down since he will bet every flop after his cap.

Re: AA 3/6
Yes your cap on flop is bad. Onepair against a pf-capper on this board is nothing to get to excited about. Your hoping for JJ or AK here and JJ has 6 outs tho the straight. The flop is very bad for us and I would just call down.
